Project Brief
In 2025, five resort hotels in the Hilton portfolio were underperforming against commercial expectations. Our team's objective was to drive performance by improving digital presence and strengthening their lifestyle content libraries.
Hilton Tulum Riviera Maya All-Inclusive Resort was one of these five properties and my primary assignment in the project. I directed our internal creative team and external production agency from start to finish — storytelling, shot list, casting, wardrobe, HMU, props, on-set production, and post-production editing.

The Guest Story
I was very excited to craft the story of a stay which captures not only the hotel's marketing needs (family-friendly amenities as well as a premium stay option), but also a non-traditional family unit.
A single mom and her two kids are on vacation with the fun uncle (Mom's brother) and his wife. In some scenes we see the whole group spending quality time together. In other scenes they split up to do their own thing: Mom taking the kids to splash and play while Aunt and Uncle indulge in cocktails at the exclusive premium pool.

Did I mention we also had to include a nod to business travel somewhere in there? So our aunt took advantage of the exclusive lounge to knock out some work before officially going OOO.
Director's Cut
Our video director created a beautiful director's cut of the three Hilton Hotels & Resorts properties captured for this Mexico project. Working with Sofia and our DP, Eric, on set was every art director's dream: a creative flow state of sharing ideas, trying unexpected shots, and seeing each other's visions. This DC captures every bit of the passion we poured into getting the shot and telling the story.
Behind the Scenes
Even in October, it was blazing hot in Tulum! Here are some fun BTS moments on set (mostly silly ways to beat the heat and unorthodox methods for getting the shot).
